 Illustration by unknown artist "Veda" means knowledge, vedic culture means the spiritually aware society. And "dharma", as the meaning of life, the way to live the existance on Earth. Some kingdoms were known as Atlantis, Mu and Lemuria, but they were just a late period of vedic (spiritually aware) society, in different expressions of knowledge.
We often refer it as "Hinduism", but it is more correct calling it vedic-culture.
